Sort the electrics before the kitchen arrivesA new kitchen brings more than a different layout. An induction hob, oven and dishwasher can all affect the electrical plan. We use your kitchen drawing and appliance details to work out which circuits and connection points are needed. This helps avoid discovering a missing supply after the cabinets have been fitted.Match the plan to the appliancesWe check the existing consumer unit and incoming supply before proposing changes. The connection arrangement for a hob depends on the appliance and installation; the plug shape alone is not enough. We also discuss socket positions, access behind cabinets and lighting connections with you or your kitchen installer.Separate circuits where the design requires themSuitable connections for cooking appliancesSockets positioned around the final kitchen layoutFirst fix and final connection visits coordinatedKeep the renovation movingSend the latest drawing, equipment specifications and expected fitting dates. We agree who handles wall chasing, making good and appliance placement. If a grid connection change is needed, that has its own planning with the grid operator. We quote the electrical work clearly and explain any dependencies before you commit. At completion, we test our work and update the relevant circuit information.
Clear agreements before we begin
We describe materials, labour and any separate work in the quote. Wall repairs, painting and changes by the grid operator are only included when explicitly agreed.
